Try shallow with either maggot or pellet about 5 mtrs out depending on whats fishing the best. Also, as Pete Rice the fishery manager to give you some information and he will definately put you in the right direction. Also slop can help increase the number of bites

Dont forget your elastics. You wont need heavy laccy or else you will lose fish.Probably 8-10 maver latex should suffice. On the up in the water rig i use grey hydro,it stretches brilliantly when the fish hook themselves. You will catch some fish with damaged mouths, heavy elastic seems to lose you these fish.

new pool fishing it's head off, 25 fish an hour will give app 100lb, dont count the silvers, loads of fish to be caught down the edges and up in the water at 4-5m, 2 nets needed for even split.

Swainy, has the increased rainfall affected the water? Also how would you tackle this match, bearing in mind the amount of rain thats fell, would you still fish up in the water,or would it be wise to start on the deck and come up.

The extra rain has put more oxygen in the water thats why the weights are so high at the moment, yes i would still fish the mag shallow, start on bottom and work up, also at depth down the edge, saying that i struggled on top pool today i was well beaten by the paste men, fish to your strengths and what yr happy with but keep something going in,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
