Default Boddington

As a follow up to Markmalins post,I too have a match at Boddington July 14th.
What concerns me is the nature of the banks.Last year fell over rock, and finished up under hospital for two months with injury received to leg.
I've been told the banks have now been sorted, with concrete steps.
Wondering if anyone can either endorse or repute this information, and what is the situation with ban sticks,ie are attachments needed to octoplus legs etc.
Any info would be appreciated.
