I just worked it out 2 and miss one working backwards, as the end pegs are better than the early pegs, but are a good walk!

Hi Nigel,
It was won with 74lb i think off peg54 method feeder caught carp,62 lb 2nd made up of lots of silvers ,a few twenty odd pounds, the early pegs 1-30 didnt produce at all, lucky to get 10lb if that. all weights came from 30-54,as you said the better pegs at the moment. It was very windy which did make presentation on the pole just about impossible, for the guys fishing for silvers.

Glad it fished well anyway. Lots of venues are off form at the moment, and with some losing fish.
Being such a big (27acre) lake, it is very wind affected. The far end is deeper, and has been fishing better all week. The same wind problems at Makins for me, i had to fish down the edge it was that bad!
I hope you enjoyed the venue anyway, i told you there were plenty of other speices, i think the skimmers will be winning matches next year, some are now 2lb a piece! I may put some more tench in the future too.
Cheers Nige.
