Default Couple of Doncaster ponds..

Hi,

Wondered if anyone on here could please give me any info on the following two Doncaster fishing venues, such as water depths and quality of the fishing etc..

Parklands pond (former ICI) at wheatley...is this a pay on the bank fishery or do you have to be a member?..

Cusworth farm ponds next to A1..do these belong to the nearby Marr Grange farm? and if so do you have to call there and pay first..

thanks,

dazz

any chance of a multimap link or Google for these ponds I asked about these ponds on another site but no one seemed to know them perhaps they come under a different name?the only Cusworth ponds we know of are Cushworth hall, they are under renovation at the moment and we are not sure if you can see them from the A1.

This I believe is the location of the pond(s) at near to the A1

About 6 years ago myself and my brother walked down the nearby public footpath towards that area cos someone had told him there were ponds near there. We saw a farmer in a tractor at the end of the footpath and he asked were we were going, we asked if there was a pond nearby and he said no!..

And this is parklands at wheatley..

Someone told me it was quite shallow, but someone else told my brother that its upto 13ft in places!..

here's a website with a few pics, with it being long and winding it looks very much like the shallow farmhouse pond at cusworth, looking towards the wood..
