They drained it down 5 years ago, to do some repaires to the dam wall. They drained it down from 100 acres to 5 acres, and were netting the carp out, and taking them to Makins and Blythe. I asked if there were any left could i buy them, and i ended up getting a 1000 fish. between 8 and 18lb.
While netting, they were catching the odd pike about 3 to 5lb, and the odd perch about 2lb, but no catfish, they said they had 'gone' and suspected they had been stolen! But there were certanly none caught, and they were netting this small pool evry day for weeks.
I heared they were going to restock with 'stockies', so as Steve says, as it is mostly unfishable, it is more likely to be used a one giant stock pond!

my uncle lost loads of line and a rod instantly while he was up there and the baliff whom i know knows there is catfish
