casters up in the water, if they're not up in the water then tight across to island with bread or maggots

HI if its a silver fish only match feed joker in leam 3/4 across and lose feed a few casters over the top with flourecent pinkie or bloodworm on the hook
expect the better silvers to come up to midwater in the last hour to the caster if carp count as 4oz feed casters across on top of the shelf for the carp 12 small carp can get you out of jail if the silvers are very slow
trotters lake as a massive head of roach skimmers and chub gils does contain slivers but its mainly roach with the odd skimmer with pegs 7 to 19 being the best siver pegs at this time of year (out the cold winds )
hope the above info is of use to you

Yep it would have been had you been able to tell me last week !!!

Didn't have any joker or B&J had peg 29 and struggled to catch 1lb 11oz of bits carp didn't count and caught no crucians or gold fish that did. Only one guy went outright for roach and did 12lb 7oz on B&J.

Won't make that mistake next time we're there in 2 weeks.

Was well peed off to be given duff info before going and peed off that crucians and gold fish count as most only fished for them and waded through a mound of carp to get three or four and put them up in the frame. Silvers matches should be Silvers ie roach/rudd/skimmers/bream, perch and tench a maybe. But then I suppose most wouldn't catch and they would get all upset.
