has anyone fished capesthorne top pool as i need some advice as i will be on there come next season...

Are you referring to what we used to call the "Garden Pond"?

Have a look at the club website, its very good.

I used to be a member years ago but dropped it when they lost the rights to Stanley Reservoir, which they've recent re-acquired.

Try Pickerings in Burslem or Trentside Angling, both good tackle shops in the Potteries they'll put you right.
