i was told not to use the pole cup so tried to stay of it for as long as possible. my problem was lots of liners in the third hour. i only had the micro pellet with me and could not get them out to the distance i needed to with the wind. so i put about 3 or 4 cad pots worth in my cup and cupped it in to try and get them on the deck. i had a fish pretty quick, then fished the bait out untill i started getting liners again.

i had two fish on corn both were rudd.

how many lines would you personally set up? as i noticed the chaps on the other side to me fished different to evry one else on my bank. they fished about 5 metres out one to the left, one in the centre, and one to the right. and i never saw them fish much further than 5 or 6 metres. whereas the chap on the left of me fished 14 1/2 metres most of the day and never touched much on his inside line.

Shaun
I would look to fish 13m - 14.5 meters out as main line depending on room and conditions. Have a 4-5 meter line and down both sides. Down the sides I would fish corn and only feed corn. Pellet on the other lines 4mm hookers and try 6mm and corn sometimes. Dont forget the bomb rod double hair rigged corn for the hard areas on meadow. Waggler set 2 - 3ft deep with corn chucked to middle of the pools can be good aswell.

Popped in there today (just happened to be passing), I was told there are 102 entrants, and we will be on Meadow, Silver and Moors.

Worring thing was, I watched they guys fishing the open on Moors for 15 minutes and didn't see a fish caught or even a hopeful strike!

See you all there.

.

trying to get some inside information was you red fin? lol

i wonder how the draw will be done? i spoke to mal and he said it was up to dave harrel.

so i reckon its going to either be
you draw in the order you turn up,
the order on your ticket,

or evry one is fighting for the draw bag.
