Default Drayton res'

Hi all,

I have a match at Drayton first week in June, how is it fishing at the moment? What's the best method / bait?

All info gratefully received.

I'm not called silverfish by chance you know, I need carp help!

Cheers....Mark

Cheers mate, I think the wag sounds a bit safer, although the pole would be a bit of fun lol!

i find it best to have a bagging wag and a method feeder set up and i have started to spod 3 or 4 pints of bait out and fish the bagging wag over the top and switch between the two methods .if the weather stays the same as it is now the wag will do the business but i tend to pick up a few more bonus fish having a occasional chuck on the method .
you need to keep relatively tight say a 4 meter square spot but its proper bites .
still worth setting the pole up in the right area on the boards or dam wall , i love the place . it rewards the anglers who turn up and put effort in .

take some maggots with you as on hard days they are the best hook baits
