Worm and caster is working there at the moment.

Willows you will want some meat - try small punched meat in 3-4ft of water. Feed a line at 4-5M with 4mm pellet all day steady and fish 6mm and 4mm over the top, obviously try up and down. There are alot of corners and points on Willows - if you want a steady days fishing you could take 4pt caster and just fish up as long as you can feed by hand.

Fishing Bonsai this weekend so need to know depths both for down the middle and across to the island, and does the far bank have a shelf or a slope. I notice that the method seems to work but i know the island is easily within reach for the pole, so is the method mainly used when its windy?? At the moment iam enjoying the method and would like to try it here. I plan to fish with 4mm pellet with micro pellet as feed to the island on the pole, and pellet down the track. Also a short pellet and corn line. How does this sound??

Thanks Danny

Default Loco info.......

Hi all,
while we are pumping for info on Lindholme, got a match Sunday 31st on Loco lake, never fished it before and there seems limited information on it, any ideas at all would be a great help, we have the whole lake but are leaving the corners out so everyone has the chance to throw a feeder out. Is it all feeder or will close in produce
Thanks in advance.
Steve

To be honest it is not my favourite lake. If you are going to win it will be either pellet waggler or method feeder. You could try feeding a 7-8M line with pellet and paste and try it as a backup.

The peg that can cast to the island should win, it's deep on the pole line past 6-7metres.

Probably poorest lake on the complex to be honest.

Thanks for the quick reply Gents,

Is it true that you are not allowed any shot etc. above the float to lock it in place... sounds too strange to me.... (Just something we were told by our match booking sec.)

If it is true then how do you fish up in the water ie Pellet Wag, as the pellet will sink with nothing holding it up? I await your reply to that one with anticipation
Cheers Steve.

P.s. The only reason we are on there is because Kilburn, Belper is out of action, last minute decision, so not much choice realy.

Of course you are allowed shot on the waggler. You are NOT allowed fixed method feeders, just the inline running ones.
