Ryecroft Clover & Canal - Talk Angling fishing chat and tackle advice

Hi Guys ,I know Redfin has asked the question in an earlier post but we have a match coming up on Clover and Canal at Ryecroft fishery and info needed please. Never fished this venue before, so whats doing the business at the moment chaps.

Our match today was on Moat and Clover, so I don't know much about canal. Both pools, except for 1 peg on clover fished hard. Clover was won with 70+lb, he fished 16m onto the sunken island (pellet I think) 2' deep. Most pegs are around 6' on the top 3 and 3' down the edge. No fish caught in the margin. 20lb 2nd and only 12lb 4th!

I was on moat, there is a sunken island on most pegs at around 13m. I had 24lb for 4th, alternated pellet and worm on island and worm at 7m, a mixed bag of fish, carp to 4lb, crushians, tench, chub, rudd and skimmers.

Im fishing a match here next weekend, anyone know current frame weights? tactics? average stamp of fish?

Anyone on here fishing the match? Chillwell MPGS match?
