any one fished the new pool recently, how big are the fish now,are you still having to fish up to the island,how close in can you catch.what bait are they catching on.

Still generally small fish - our winner had 34lb with nowt over a pound - generally 4-8 ouncers, although a few better fish to 2lb put in an appearance on pegs in the 20's

Pellet did the damage, and corn seemed to sort a few better fish.

I had a bite a chuck on pinkie and mag fom 2 - 4oz skimmers for my 18lb, but will focus on pellet and corn next visit

I wasnt on an island and never ventured further that 8 mtrs out
