Default Straight mile

Hi all
Has any one fished straight mile recently, if so how bigare the fish, do you have to fish up to the island,or canyou catch close in,what bait are they catching on.

Default stright mile

It all depends on the draw but i would take meat for up in the water and fish the last hour in the margins, some big fish in there so make sure your kitted out for it.

Best pegs are either side of the bridge & opposite where the logs are, best bait chopped worm & castor bulk it out with corn beware tho you need loads of bait, long pole is the prefered method but like GeoffH says margins last hour.
