Default Barston

Just wondering if anyone fishes Barston at all as I want to try another venue and was thinking about going to Barston over the weekend. I would intend to fish on the pole and was wondering which pool to fish and what would be the best baits to use?

Thank you in advance

If its not matched up then the match pool is ideal for pole work, and Matt6900 won the fisho mania qualifier off peg 5. the big lake will respond to the pole and holds plenty of skimmers along with a head of roach and carp, fish a line at around 12 metre fishing pellet over a bed of micros or a ball or two of fishmeal ground bait should bring you a fish or two, chopped worm and caster will also work, corn is a usefull change bait, also feed a line at around six metre, plus the usual margin swim especially on the right hand bank but that again might be matched up.

If you are on the big lake just keep cupping in a big ball of GB packed with worm and caster every 20 minutes on say 13m - you should then catch skimmers and roach + the odd tench.
