Default Hayfield

Going hayfield this week for a pleasure session. havent been for a few years, any advice on best way to get a few carp? My lad wants to have a bash at it. Cant get him interested in scratching about on canal for some reason.

Have a plumb around find 4 foot at bottom of shelf, chopped worm caster & hemp should have a good day just keep feeding.

Thanks Jethro, went yesterday and the fish were spawning but my lad had a nine pounder on worm and I had a thirteen pounder, so we enjoyed a good day.
