Default Purton Canal Fishing?

Hi all,

I am just wondering if anyone has fished in purton canal it runs all the way through to gloucester and not sure where it goes to from gloucester but i fish in the purton part/ sharpness. I am just wondering if any one knows there would be any carp in there. Ive heard there is but really hard to catch apprantly and im not sure how to catch them ...Float,Feeder,Spinning? can someone help me also what bait as well. Thanks
