Hi, going to the above fishery tomorrow (wednesday), wanted to check there were no matches scheduled but no contact number on their website !
does anyone know whether there are matches on and if anyone fishes there any tips for me as only a novice and never fished their before!

fished top pool sunday fished hard came 3rd with 10 lb 5 oz couldnt get a bite on static baits had silvers on maggot plenty of them an 2 carp an 4 small tench on worm 26 lb won it tight to the island on worm i had mine 1 an half meters off the island if you are on beckets pool pellet is the bait down the side an 5 m out in the chanle

no ther was people fishing it the weekend he might have stopped matches on it im not sure the new pool is closed the snake pool it opens feb 2009 still working on it not sure if hes got any stock in it yet but looks a nice pool

hi all yeah didnt do too badly.

a couple of mirror, couple of common and a few silvers.

all caught on the pellet.

my mate did best catching around 15 carp all caught tight to the end of the island.

certainly was a good day for it.
