Default Cudmore Arena

Hi lads & lasses i will be going to cudmore to fish larry teapot's match mid september on the arena pool can any one with any information on best baits and methods please post them on this thread so i will at least have a decent days sport. I havn't been to cudmore for about 10 years and the arena wasn't built then. I won't be able to beat all the super stars from the west mids who fish there but its a long way to travel and not catch a few, so any info would be greatfully recieved. cheers steve.

Thumbs up

pellet or maggot feeder to the island works well but keep feeding down the margin also and have a look every 10 mins, best baits are Worm/Caster/Hemp/Meat, also try meat out at 8mtr and plumb up Accurate

I fished it a month ago, I had a few fish tight to the island on method and meat hookbait. Fished 13 metres chop worm and caster and had a few barbel out, the wind spoilt it as it was right bad. Had 35 1b in the end. Would of done better if the conditions were right but its a good venue

Cheers lads which baits don't you have to buy at cudmore is it meat and natural baits, also is it ok if i bring my own flask of coffee or do i have to buy theres at a reasonable cost obviously (its for the safety of the angler as they need to know how much we are consuming).

lmao thers more rules an regs than a nuclear power plant you can take your own flask but you have to buy there coffee to fill it lol and buy the way you cant use hooks it might hurt the fish!!
choped worm an caster are the main baits i think around 6 to 8 meters out feed 5 lines 10 oclock 2 oclock left a right margins an the cut outs off the island

From what i have read is it ok for me to bring my own worm, meat and corn but must use there hemp, pellet and groundbait.
