Thanks for the update mate, Not good news on the windy front but at least you caught mate and no dry net. Takes a brave man to stand up to these chill winds well done for persevering and also taking the time to report back with your results. Bet you will be popping down to Sherwood forest in the summer when it really comes into its own.

I might have to try the lake out in Ollerton then, I knew there was one there but couldn't find any info on it!

My girlfriends parents live nearby in Rufford and when we visit (I'm from Coventry) I quite often take my tackle with me

I've only fished Sherwood forest farm which is a cracking venue, I like to fish Cavendish lake and I've had some good mornings fishing there!
