i live in nuneaton and i am thinking of fishing the river anker. can anybody tell me where i can fish?

i've heard that you can fish the weddington fields and also in witherley but don't know whether you are allowed to fish here or where i can park.

can anybody give me as much info as possible and also info on where i can park my car?

Hi Matt,

I know mates of mine fished the Weddington fields a few years back and had some great bags of Dace, and that was from the layby up the road from pub on the left. Not sure how its fishing now, or how you get at it. Would love to know how you get on? You can go onto the BAA site, and they have maps and info about their bit of the anker!

hi matt i live in nuneaton i fish the anker ,fished by the swimming baths a few times had some good bags of chub and roach by the new houses by the railway. send me a pm where you live and we will have a day out mate
