Just to add to Simon's synopsis of the Suffolk Water Park, there are matches at least weekly and I will try to keep the results posted on here under the results section. To book in for matches, please ring me on 07881 953310 or email richard@learntofish.co.uk. During BST the draw for matches is 9.45 and we fish 11.00 to 4.00 so there is plenty of time to get there. There is a cafe on site that is open for breakfast from 7.15 am and you can park behind every peg on the match lakes. Each peg has a really sound platform to fish from and the pegs are reasonably spaced so that it is possible to fish down the edge on every peg. There are a few corner pegs that we tend to leave out in matches but are fine for pleasure fishing in the summer. We also run a series of evening matches starting Tuesday May 20th. Draw at 5.30.

There is a small tackle shop on site that has maggots, worms and groundbait for sale also a small selection of end tackle - floats, leads hooks etc. Whips can be borrowed if you want to take a child somewhere they will catch fish and you don't want your own tackle damaged!

As far as specimen carp are concerned, despite the appalling weather the last couple of weeks of March have been good. April is normally a good month to catch these fish which are not easy. Reported captures of fish are 20lb for March are shown below:-
