"Girling AS" has been around for approx. 35 years, originating in the old Girling factory at Kings road Tysely Birmingham. The club owns the stretch of the Avon below Fladbury wier opposite the BAA stretch.

The match program includes the main aggregate 10 matches (BAA venues & club water) with a Spring league (3 matches) on Carp pools & a Winter league on Canals & Fladbury (5 matches).

Fladbury is available for club matches. From the weir down to the bay you can usually find fish regardless of conditions, Barble show up when there is a bit of colour but generally it's Chub & Roach & Perch, & lots of Pike. We are currently accepting new members. It's a friendly club, sub's are low partly financed by letting the water for matches.

That's the advertisement out of the way, since registering on the site i would like to begin to post our results hopefully for your interest. The club has links with the "St Michaels" club who have the Batchley (Redditch) water & naturally there is a bit of rivalry.

So, look out for our results, I hope you find them interesting.
