Default Hello, new boy here.

Just joined the forum and have posted my first question regarding long match rods. I have been fishing since i was 7 years old, about 50 years ago! had layed off for about 20 years bringing up kids and paying mortgage etc etc cant believe the difference to my old venues where you would fish all day for 2 bleak now if you dont bag up about 100lb carp at a commercial its a bad day. Mind you I know what I prefer! i wish there could be a little more emphasis on general fisheries instead of the obsession with carp, pound for pound I would rather catch a 5 pound tench against a carp of the same weight.
