hi, all. just joined after viewing for a while. looks very informative site. Can any one give an average (just)club angler some tips on how to fish to a sunken island approx 16 mtrs out. i would be gratefull for any info

hi geof, i used to fish an 8mtr rod i used for margin fishing (too old now) what i did was -take off the butt at the end of the cork handle and insert rolled up lead tightly to counter ballance, then put the end back on.
