Mick, welcome to the site.

Not blowing my own trumpet too much but you have found the best match fishing forum in the country!

If you take a look around the site you can see the various sections - like venue advice etc - post into there if you have a specific venue you need help with.

Please encourage other members of your match fishing circle to join the site as well as all members are most welcome.

Exclamation any ideas?

Hi folks, Its the first time ive used these sites as im not very good at these new fandangled computer things. Im not sure about where to put our information but had been recommended to try this site. Ive got 2 acres of a 2 1/2 acre well stocked fishing lake, and we fish 3 of the banks. Me and the missus and our young son are moving to france to do fishing holidays and so we can have more family time. So we are selling the 3 bed semi detached cottage ,1 1/2 acres of land and up and coming fishing business. The pond is beautiful, very natural and got great stocks of very healthy fish, I just need to know where to advertise it on the site. Oh and to say check out our website or better still come and have a days fishing, we dont charge much and you will be sure of a good catch. Rose Cottage. We are based in East Yorkshire just off the M62. Cheers Chris

Hi people. Just thought I would join. Pleasure angler when I get time, that is when the other half allows me 10 minutes of my own. Live near Leighton Buzzard, loads of fishing locations here to catch decent fish. Oh and plenty of pubs on the canal too

Lightbulb Learn2be fishing project

Hi,

In Northamptonshire we are setting up a fishing project for people referred to the Changing Minds project because they are having probelms with depression and anxiety.

I'm a keen but unlucky, total blanker of a fisherman and will be helping to run the pilot project.

What we are desparatley seeking some second hand beginners fishing equipment or if you have some suggestions or have any good contacts for us.

Thanks

Martin

Smile aston ponds

Hi all i'm carl just starting out fishing again, I don't have much tackle as i've no car so it's what i can carry. Went to Aston ponds on saturday 3rd one up next to the cafe. As I say just starting again all i've got is a qwiver rod which i use for both float and lite feeder fishing only had 6lb line size 18 to 16 maggs and worms. tried both on the float a few bits but no takers with a size 18 on 6lb, switched to maggot feeder as everybody was fishing to a feature so i went to the middle clipped my line and got 15 fish. Twas a good day for the first time out.
