Hi All,
i am Kevin and very new to angling - I haven't been yet! I have decided to take the plunge as I have always been interested but never got round to it. Now I need to get away from work a bit so I am having a couple of sessions with a mate at Barnet to get started and then plan to visit Woodland Waters, as it is my local. Any advice on the best lake for me to start on would be appreciated, as well as recommended set-ups etc... Thanks.

Hey just to say things are moving along with the learn2b 'Rod to recovery' fishing group, we have support from the Environment Agency with licences, we have just applied for an European Fishing Tackle Traders Assoc grant. So if anyone has any contacts, advice or wants me to stop harassing the forum please get in touch.

Martin

Hi , Not only am I new to fishing but I am a lady (well most the time ) I am writing to say that I am already totally addicted to fishing and would fish 7 days a week if I could. I have still got lots to learn but I am now an avid reader of most angling mags. Any advice would be most appriecated . Well I have 2 hours of my shift left and then I have a weekend of fishing to look forward to come rain or shine ..but mostly rain by the looks of it.

xx
