    Just a quick hello...recently registered and been enjoying reading the forum...so i guess its time to contribute!

    Returning angler...ten years out...started again last month (don't know why...just got the "bug" back) alots changed since i've been away <LOL>

    Had 4 sessions so far...Lakeside Ranskill & Makins Wolvey...and it seems i can still catch the odd fish...

    Never tried pellets...paste...or the like before...thats a foreign language to me!
    So going to have a session today only on these new fangled baits to see if i can adapt my "old timer" ways to the 21st century...

    Oh...and can't wait to buy a new pole...my old Maver Blue Vega...feels like holding a lamp post compared to some of the new ones that are about <LOL>

    Hi welcome to the site recent member myself same as you was out for a few years just got my first pole getting used to all these new baits now pellets are ace on commercials also make some into paste for margin fishing for the lumps cant beat fishing sweetcorn over pellets if ithe bites arnt comin anyway goodluck stick with it this time .

    Welcome to the site m8y. Like you I only returned after a 30 year break and lots have changed. Bring back the good old days lol !!!
