Default hi Im just getting started again after a long absence

I recently bought a new pole and was sold a set of maver round floats for fishing up in the water but I cant work out how to rig them up and the shop is a bit too far for me to go back to. Can anybody please come to my aid as even though i am 59 yrs old Its a while since Ive fished properly and find all this new stuff daunting

Hi Brian
The easyest way to rig em is (and not sarcastic here) can you remember how to set up a stck float,if you can you can set up a pole rig the only differance is you shot it up at home cut the top off a 2lt of bigger pop bottle or get a deep bucket put the float on the line and leave enough laine below the float to add the shot.
Put the shot on the line and lower into the bottle/bucket and set the float up till there is a about half a inch above the waters surface when you have set up the float to this you can ( you should have used enough line to set to the depth of the place you are fishing plus about 18 inch) move the float up the line and then tie a loop in the top of the line ( this is to attach to your pole) move the shot about 18 up from where you placed it on the line in a bulk or spred it out like a stick float it is up to you then tie a loop in the bottom of the line to attatch your hook when you done all this put on a winder and you have a pole rig made up
Hope this helps
Steve
