You could make a compost bin.

get a cylinder with open top and bottom but make sure you have a lip for the top
put in damp cardboard or paper that has been soaked for a day or so
then afterthat put in all your old egg shells, tea bags, potatoe peeling, veg peeiling, apple cores ect and this will make the worms come into your compost bin and breed more worms then when you need some worms you just move the stuff about inside and find the worms but this takes a few weeks for the worms to get used t it.....you could speed it up by buying a few worms and putting it into your compost bin but if the compost bin is too wet or not wet enough then you worms will move elsewhere. give it a try i've got one and its great. loads of worms for free

Or if you mix some washing up liquid in a bowl with some hot water and pour it on a patch on your garden it makes the worms come to the top. but it does not always work and sometimes even when it does work you only get a few worms. but most of the time you get enough worms to go fishing with.

hope this helps
