Default fylde new face

hi folks
ive just started fishing again after many years away (met wife aged 18 and 25 yrs later starting up again!!!)
use to match fish on the lancy canal and was successful winning some matches and a national section for the preston otters......
the potential has long left and my ego has been getting a good old battering locally but its a lovely therapy for sure...
i fish whitmore nr kirkham due its proximity - some nights i can bag up down the margins on short pole or feeder fish banded pellet across the island in the doughnut lake
ive improved so much with the quality of my casting, presentation and learnt some new techniques / methods but some nights im lost as to why the fish desert me - my new theory after last night is DO FISH RESPOND TO THE WIND IN SMALL LAKES - soon as the wind switched i brought only tench and bream to the net after changing from banded pellet to hooked soft pellet - i was chuffed i kepy catching but watching the 3 who hadnt caught hammer the fish in the last 90 minutes made me think is it the wind....or am i just still learning

im a thinker - watched a few matches - i thought i fed a fair but but hell these guys hammer the feed and the fish sure respond - are such lakes peggy despite looking the same ?

few qs to start with

i live in kirkham

anyone selling a 12 - 14 m pole, or seat box or decent feeder rod or pellet waggler type of rod - let me know what you got

p.s. i never fish when its windy as i surf - fishing is my way of tanning but i fancy going thru into the autumn

thanks - i look forward to picking your bait tims
