Unhappy whip

hi all ,am new to pole/whip fishing advice please on colour and strenghth of elastic i am angling just for pleasure i put my bait on and am happy to catch anything so am not goi:confusedfor the big ones. hope someone can help

HI AKA i would just like to know the strenghths of elastic i am on yellow at the moment, i fish at my local pond in normanton west yorks ,it has a good choice of fish, also we go away with the van to diffrent venues. but like i say i am not a specialist fisherman . owt does me

yellow in my pole is a 12's, that depends on what brand of laccy it is . A 12's will catch anything if it aint set too tight. Plus it will take you longer to land any lumps. I would suggest atleast a 14's if you are fishing up to snags or you will just lose rig after rig, but in open water it is a good all rounder

Trouble is you cant go by colour of the elastic as i have Yellow 6, Yellow 14 and Yellow 22.

All made by different companies

If you know what make of elastic it is Bobby or the rough diametre that will help better.

Not much help i know but lacky is not made in any standard colour as all makes are different.

hello bobby i did say you would get better/ more info....... i agree with all the above mate/ to cover all angles 6 is lowest 12 covers a good range and top end is black hydro / grey hydro / depends on how many top kits you have and the rating on the pole hope this helps
