Default Still recovering from that battering

Hi all
Just saying hello especially to the lads who fished the cornerstone open at small heath , well done.
I had a terrible match and left before the end. I did not prepare well and had the worst days fishing ever. But some of the blame must go to the tackle shop for selling me squatts that turned over night , which just left me pellet, which, i was told was no good for the section of canal i was on. Oh well i have learned from my mistakes and will prepare some canal rigs and carry the right bait next time .
Once again well done, all impressive weights indeed.

Good to meet you on Saturday.

Be good to see you back up that way Justice. Bring your trolley next time though just in case lol

When you do come next time don't take advice from Larry Teepot. That's all I'm saying.

LOLOL

I'm not sure to be honest, that's something Tony (Cornerstone) or Pete (Larry Teepot) will answer.

Yes justice,
Every saturday untill it gets too cold, and anglers move on to bloodworm venues or pack up for the winter. If you come again, you could do worse than fish liquidised bread, and punch, squat or pinkie over the top.Put a drop on your top 3 line[4-5 feet deep]then find the same depth across[normally 3/4 of cut]and put in a bigger ball of bread.Put any groundbait further across, and fire a pinch of squat over the GB now and again.Fire too much and the fish can back off.Keep it nice and simple and youll catch ok.
See you again
cornerstone.
