Default Hi from the east midlands

Hi folks, i live near ashby de la zouch & started fishing again after a 9 year break about 2 months ago. found this forum a couple of days ago, then as i was about to say hi, all of us in the family got struck down by some sort of virus, don't know how it came about, but we've been very ill since & only now can i even look at a pc screen

anyway that's howdo from me

hi boro boy, not had much of a look around, but looks ok. you live at / near nuneaton? you must have fished The Riddings at some point then buddy?

Welcome to the forum mate and may you have many hours of informative info and input.
Hope you are not blaming the forum for your illness saying you went down with some sort of virus . Anyway mate glad you are on the mend and best wishes to you and all the family, get well soon .

Ashby-De-la-Zouch, not to far away from the Notts lads, how is Springwood fishing (Melbourne) Mr Teepot had a bash there nice pond good day put.

Keep posting mate nice to have you on board .

did you know we have 2 Springwood fisheries over ere? the one near melbourne & also another closer to ashby ( on the ashby permit ) , not tried the melbourne day ticket water yet, but have experienced the dodgey platforms you have to sit on at the other pool

The Riddings fishery is on the A5 at Grendon ( near Atherstone ) , heading towards Tamworth from Nuneaton, as you get to Grendon, you turn left up a dirt track, 4 pools to choose from ( if you can get a peg, cuz it gets busy ) nice place to fish, you can even book your peg over the phone.
