I would like to say hi my name is Alan and i live in Scarborough North YorkShire.

Ive been fishing since i was 4 years old now 47, my Grandad who was all England champion and my mother was junior female champ of England.

I come from Leeds and did all my fishing from all over Leeds and round hay park and my Pb is 110 lb of skimmers from the boathouse in 1984 and that was against some of the best match-men of the time in a pre match warm up hope some of them will remember me. Tom Pickering, Dave Harrell.

My over hobbies is ferreting and net making i make all my own nets the one that i am working on now is 49ft long by 3mtrs wide and only 70mtrs to go to the end.

I have not been fishing now for 4 years due to server depression and aggro phobia and right now i would give anything to start fishing again so anyone that can help.

Hi Alan and welcome to the site. Quiet today. most probably been fishing.Remember Scarborough well in my youth in the 60's. There are a number of members living in your neck of the woods. Take the plunge and start again. Hope to see you contributing/questioning in future!!

Thanks, as to take the plunge that i would love to do but my wife tells me that i will never do, and the more times she says that the more i start to think she is right.
