hi guys cud any1 gimme any advice on pole fishing on a canal or small stilwaters??Elastics and stuff.....Thanks

There are lots of variables mate. If you are scraping about with B&J for bits you're going to be using 3 or 4 elastic.Personally where I've fished the Grand Union I've had to use 6 or 8 elastice to cope with 3lb bream which know their wherabouts.Still don't land the carp!! Post where you anticipate fishing and what you know abot the fish there and there'll be plenty of experts on here to give you advice!
