im new to fly fishing bought myself a fly rod set .got the backing on the reel got the floating line on and loop at the end so now what im stuck please help me out people cheers

You need a leader you can buy them singular or in packs (tapered ) .These vary in strengths to suite your type of fishing, they are about 9ft long. After a while you will find out how to make them yourself, quite easy to make.

you will also need some flies 1 pint of maggots left in your bag kept in a warm place should do the trick
