a medium sized net is fine, it wont flap about as much as it would in a big un, a landing net handle of about 3 metres will be ok, you can jump onto the concrete steps to land em on the dam wall

Most of the fish are big singles low doubles!
At Drayton you CANNOT lose concentration, when these suckers pick up their gone! You wont believe the amount of tackle that just vanishes into the water, wush splash gone!

If its an afternoon match, get a good carpet down under your feet, by evening the water there will be heaving with them! Have fun..

Hi All

We as a club have fished it for the last 5 years in May time and i have always been lucky with the weather and fished floaters and bagged up, depends on the weather though. Was on pegs opposite the boards last year on the point, this year we are fishing the boards so looking forward to it. Never fished them pegs before. We are there on 13 May so if anyone is around come and say hi.
