Question New Member: Higham On The Hill?

Hi all. I'm a forty something fisherman from the Birmingham area, i'm a bit new to this sort of thing. Have any of you fine people out there heard of or fished Higham on The Hill, near Atherstone. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you refering to the Higham Lane fishery? ( john varley , the owner, just outside Higham on the hill) They have regular opens every Saturday and the guys from the tackle shop fish it lots. Let me know if its the same and I'll get you some info!

Hi-ya Silverfish. From what i've been told that sounds like the one. Would appreciate it greatly if you could get any info on it. Many Thanks.

usually method feeder to the middle for the first hour. then depending on your catch rate switch to the pole.

paste or pellet at 5-6 metres.

another line at 13 metres may be cat meat or corn or paste.

if you draw on the island use a medium cage feeder a 16 inch tale with a worm and you have to clip the island every cast. usually you cant get the rod on the rest as its already pulled round. i would start on the feeder tight to the island take 3 quick fish then move on to the pole line and leave the island untill the last 2 hours.

dont neglect the margins on any of the pegs.
