Default Hi all

Just trying to get started again now my kids are a bit older. Going to try some new things like fishing for barbel. Anyone got any tips on places up north, Ilive in carlisle. Also has anyone tryed the Hardy Marksman feeder rods?

Get on the Ribble around Preston, some really good fish. Get in touch with the guys in Tavernors in lytham 01253 733332, they were great when I needed help. Good luck

Hi Gaz, i fish the Ribble regular in the season and have had my pb out of there being a
10lb barbel. I can't help ya out with the feeder rod as i've never used one of them. I have the greys prodigy barbel rod.

Bait wise i use Teme Severn - Bait, Pellets, Boilies, Impact Lamprey i am a bait consultant for them and it is wicked barbel bait especially the lamprey boiles. So any info on bait ya need give us a shout. Last year i was a member of ribchester anglers and they have some very good stretches of the ribble. So have a look at getting your name on waiting list for them, you won't regret it. There are day tickets from Dewhurst farm stretch and also the bonsai stretch. Like i said anymore info needed please dont hesitate to get in touch. Good luck!
