Default Hello, from Lincoln

Hi all,
I'm very new to fishing, and have inherited lots of fishing gear,
and can't wait to try my hand at the art of angling.

Im from Lincoln, and would appreiciate any tips and advice regarding fishing in general as well as fishing in the Lincolnshire area.

Many thanks,
Joel

Hi M8,

If your new to angling I would highly recommend Woodlandwaters at Ancaster. They have various ponds containing all species of fish.

Regards,
Bigrobbo

Hi goose i'm from sleaford south of you, a good place to start is priory lakes at ruskington its solid with small carp and is good for starters. Lincs has loads of good commercials but if i were you start with a venue similar to this to get a few in the net and then progress from there. There are a couple of tackle shops in lincoln and they can give good advise on venue's a bit closer. Harrisons of lincoln and castaway of lincoln.

I went to the birch lake for 4 hours and that went slowly, no catches, no nothing, then I moved for a couple of hours to the small carp lake and no luck still,

Had great fun, but no catches :-(
Maybe next time

Joel
