Sounds like a great day Judge

I've not been over there for a while I used to do it once or twice a week when i lived in Bugbrooke before it closed.

The 1st peg under the tree at the 2nd footbridge was my fave swim (I think it's peg 57), single nug of corn on a 14/16 fished tight against the far bank produced the results for me.

I'll definately have to get over there again for a session.

Do they still have the specimen lake open? any of the larger carp still in the main water?

As far as I know yes the carp lake is open and I did see some largish carp on the surface sat on peg 50 think that 2 pegs away from your spot lots of carp up to 1lb been put in and the crucians are showing too worth a visit

Well come Judge I'm another forced into early retirement, mine through illness. Don't you think it's easier to cope with a pole in your hand.
