hello people,another newbie to add to the ranks

Hi my name is chris and i come from the lovely west country,Bristol to be exact.I belong to a small club in bristol and we fish alot of the commercials in this part of the world,although i try and get on the rivers when ever i can.

Only been back into the sport for the last three seasons after a very long lay off and must say im mad for it,i am a member of most of the angling forums but never really post much but this site seems the most friendly so i thought id take the plunge

welcome to the site , loads of great info and sometimes a good laugh as well .Zak 70 , do you know of any shops in your area who have got the Topper crowquils , its the ones with the blueish poly bodies that i'm after in 8bb - 13bb . thanks

richie,the few toppers i have i got from bristol angling centre if you speak to dave clutterbuck down there(they have a big website if you need the number)he might be able to sort you out or know of where you can get some,to be honest i think you might struggle as now that topper has retired they are hard to get hold of.

Thanks zak70 , yeah i've been ringing round and you can get copies of the toppers but not the ones by the man himself , i found that the ones with the poly bodies were great if they got damaged because they never took on water . Thanks for your reply
