iv lived by the stroud water canal and use to fish down behind stonehouse court hotel when i was young for the great tench sessions, i took a walk down there and it looked dead now

no idea what the thrupp section is like now

hi there are lots of venues- staunton court, tirly court, norton fruit farm, hayles fruit farm, stanbough lake, burley fields, dowdswell lake,chad lakes,butlers hill farm, stone end farm, loads at evesham, well worth the drive, manor farm, willow farm, twyford lake, thornley lakes, pinvin, hillview at tewkesbury,lower court farm,etc etc if anyone would like to know more please ask and i will do my best to help. i know some good places on the avon for any barbel anglers, all are day ticket waters

Hi Kris.....Fished the match at Thrupp.I won but it was hard going.I have a match on the same stretch next sunday......hope it fishes better.
