    hi im new to the pelsall area and havent fished for a while ive started
    fishing woodlane for tench but only seem to be hooking roach an perch using 13ft match rod any tips on bait n setup techniques would b helpfull thanks.

      i fished here a few years ago and did well most times i went. i think you will find to get the tench you would need a pole .i found if you put your pole float touching the reeds then you would catch them witch you would find difficult to do on a rod . i always found casters to be the best mate. i hope this helps........
