    Chopped worm and......

    Hi all

I love fishing chopped worm when the weather get cold...
I mostly use worm extract, or now again use caster in with worm..
I would like to open up this topic or Forum on what people use in with their worm on cold days.
PS- I mostly fish Fish commercials.
Any Help on this would good.
I will use all your ideas and give you feed back on the outcome.

    All The Best

    Isn't the worm enough?
I just use it as it comes.............Cut the casters as well all fish love it. Fish mostly canals but i do have one water near by where i can catch 100pound plus carp in 4 hours for free ,all on worm and caster on top of yellow bird food!Even in deap winter it will produce.lol mind you not sure if thats hunger though.

Being a tight git i use hemp and worm, the hemp is a good attracter in its own right and a lot cheaper than worm and can be frozen if not used. Just bought a kilo of worm today and its gone up £2 to £14 from my local maggot farm.

The shops buy it for about £12 now, that was the goin price to most anglers i know last year.
Most of the time just use pure worm with a few casters,1 summer trick is to leave a pint of bagged up caster in ur car all week, then chop that up with the worm, smells nice.

when it starts going cold i chop casters up with the worms into mush and small bit of a worm on the hook sorts out the odd better fish

it totally depends on the venue and species to how much u chop, what u chop and worm/caster ratio.i would not put additives with it,it's the worm they come to.99% of bait additives catch no more fish.

I used to live on the german dutch border and used a tackle shop on Roermond, everything is cheaper, i used to get through a lot of groundbait and VDE used to cost aprox 80 pence a kilo when over hear it was £2.90 a kilo. RIP OFF Britain

D N W you got that right lol.
Is better to use chopped worm or whole worm?
Do you put the chopped worm with the caster in a pellet pot when fishing this method on the pole?
How much do you feed to get them taking the worm?

Sorry about the questions guys its just i would love to use worms on the commies but they never seem to take my worm

                            Regards,
                            Adam.
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but obtainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.
