Pellets again ...

Yesterday I use pellets for the first time and did well had nay on 20 fish
up to about 5lb using the Grey's specialist float rod ( a crackin rod ).

The pellet I was using was the "Robin red" by Dynamite baits,

I'm totally new to pellets and 'am surprised in the price variation on this bait.
Would pellet's from a pet shop be as good ???? I ask because Robin Reds are £ 4.75 a bag.

Tackle shops usually sell kilo bags of skrettings and/or coppens feed pellets for less than £2 or you can buy them in bulk bags from bigger suppliers. Farmed fish in the UK are reared almost exclusively on these two manufacturers pellets so they are probably more reliable than any other pellets on most venues, it's also having a few change baits such as the robin red for when you need to tease a few bites out of your swim.
