  • Best Shot

    Hi guys!

Whats the best shot to use on low dia. lines? Im having trouble with them sliding up and down line after each fish?????????

At the minute I am using 'Preston Soft Shot' in the grey tubes.

I only use Stotz for my big carp waters.

    Any recommendations?

    Cheers

I use small stotz as my droppers but just use preston soft shot for my bulk these days- as I can never get stotz off once they're on anymore. I've tried all sorts of ways but just end up closing the slit up even more. Bite the preston soft shot on harder- they shouldn't move.

                Lead no8 shot
it has always been my preference to use all no8 shots down the line this enables you to varie shotting patterns by
Bulking or spreading shot to change behaviour of hook bait etc
