  • Corona virus

It looks quite rightly so, that this may be the last days fishing for a while, a number of fisheries have began to close their gates for the foreseeable future, due to the corona virus.

Hayfield lakes, and Linear fisheries closed to angling yesterday, and Whiteacre cancelled all festivals until further notice, due to unnecessary travel, and social distancing.

    KEEP SAFE GUYS!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely 100% correct, to close fisheries to reduce the risk. dont care that I might just be on my own at the peg, we all need to reduce the risk. Look at it as a close season that we upheld in the past.
At present our rates of cases with the virus is in line with were Italy was 3 weeks ago about the same number of deaths too, Italy today stands at over 40,0000 cases and 4,000 deaths and rising.
As per Tunna KEEP SAFE going fishing will be all the better after we come through this.
