plummeting Depth Help?

Hi all,

I bought some plumets today and ive been fishing for a while, and to be fair never plumeted the depth and i am seeking some help on how to do it, i mean i asked the man in my tackle shop and he said you put the hook through the plummets eye and stab it through the hook, BUT my hook doesnt even go thorugh the plumets eye. I may sound stupid, but ive never plumeted depth

what hooks size are you using

size 14

then its pretty simple...thread the hook through the eye and put point into cork........lower it into water where you want to fish.....and a just float till its showing ..or appears and thats your depth.....
