Is it the Bertin as per this page from the Sensas catalogue

SENSAS - Your perfect fishing partner - Products - Match fishing floats "Roach"
Having read all your posts it seems to fit the description

Maybe not Matt, whats the stem and tip made of, as it appears the Bertin is wire for both. Dont think those carp at Manor Farm need that much finesse.

those must be the ones brian, wire stem and tip, suppose i should of stated that earlier! i have had a look on the sensas website but they didnt look the same to me

if i used these at manor they would be trashed after a few fish, thinking of taking up the canals and rivers again, there is only so much you can learn by fishing opens and only so much people tell you, my plan is to get back out on all venues and hopefully get in a decent match group, picking up new things along the way

I aint sure on the name, we just used to call them Desques.

I never used them anyway because i kept breaking the tips off,

i dont think the wire on them was straight though, personally i prefered the dufils.
